Key Responsibilities
1. Server-Side Development
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic using server-side scripting languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
2. Database Management
- Design and maintain databases, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and security.
- Optimize database queries for maximum efficiency and scalability.
3. API Development
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless communication between the front-end and back-end systems.
- Collaborate with third-party services and integrate external APIs
4. Security
- Implement security and data protection measures, including encryption and user authentication.
- Stay updated on the latest security trends and implement best practices to safeguard our applications.
5. Scalability and Performance
- Collaborate with system architects to design scalable and high-performance applications.
- Conduct performance testing and implement optimizations to ensure optimal application speed and responsiveness.
6. Version Control and Documentation
- Use version control systems (e.g., Git) for code versioning and collaboration.www.mavip.com
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for developed code and applications.
7. Collaboration
- Work closely with front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure the reliability and robustness of backend systems.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven 5+ years experience as a Backend Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in server-side programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js).
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with front-end technologies and integration with server-side logic.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
- Understanding of security best practices and data protection.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
